The stonecutter worked all day. He cut the big rocks. Tap, tap went his hammer. He saw a kind spirit. The spirit was very tall. "I want to be rich." The spirit gave a gift. Now he was very rich.

He sat in a house. He ate many sweet fruits. The sun felt very hot. The sun was very strong. "I want to be sun." The spirit heard his wish. Now he was the sun. He was big and yellow.

He was high in sky. A cloud moved in front. The cloud was very soft. "Make me a cloud." Then the wind blew hard. The wind was very fast. "Make me the wind." The spirit was very kind.

He blew over the hills. He blew over the trees. A mountain stood very still. The mountain was very strong. "Make me a mountain." The spirit made him big. He was a tall mountain. He felt very strong now.

He stood tall and proud. He felt a little tap. Tap, tap went a hammer. A stonecutter worked on him. The stonecutter was very strong. "I want to be me." He was happy to work. He loved his small hammer.
