The Three Little Pigs

Three little pigs left their home. They wanted to build new houses. The first pig liked to play. The second pig liked to nap. The third pig liked to work. Their mother waved a happy goodbye. She told them to be safe.

The first pig found some straw. He finished his house very fast. It was a light yellow house. The straw was soft and dry. He wanted to go and play. The pig danced in the sun. He was done in one hour.

The second pig found many sticks. He built his house quite quickly. It was a brown wooden house. The sticks were thin and light. He wanted to take a nap. The pig laid down to rest. Building was very easy for him.

The third pig found many bricks. He worked very hard every day. The bricks were heavy and red. He put them one by one. His house was very strong now. He was very patient and careful. It took him a long time.

A big wolf walked by them. He had a very red nose. The wolf had a bad cold. His eyes were wet and itchy. He wanted to say a greeting. He felt a tickle inside him. The big wolf had to sneeze.

The first house was made straw. A giant sneeze blew it away. Straw flew high into the sky. The first pig was very surprised. He ran to the stick house. The wolf sniffled and felt sad. He did not mean any harm.

The wolf walked to the sticks. He felt another big sneeze coming. He sneezed once more very loudly. The thin sticks fell down fast. The two pigs ran away quickly. They went to the brick house. The wolf followed with a tissue.

The wolf reached the brick house. He sneezed many times at it. The brick house did not move. It was a very sturdy home. The third pig opened the door. He saw the wolf’s red nose. The wolf looked very, very tired.

The pigs gave the wolf tea. They gave him a warm blanket. The wolf felt much better now. I am so sorry, he said. He was just a sick wolf. The pigs smiled at their friend. Kindness made them all very happy.

The four friends worked together now. They used strong bricks for everyone. They were very patient this time. Each house was strong and safe. The wolf helped carry the bricks. Now they all had sturdy homes. They lived happily in the woods.
