The pot is very small. "Cook, little pot, cook!" Hot porridge fills the pot. It smells like sweet honey. "Stop, little pot, stop!" The pot stops cooking now. The girl shares her food. Mother and girl are happy.

One day, the girl leaves. Mother wants some warm food. "Cook, little pot, cook!" The porridge is very yummy. Mother forgets the stop words. The porridge flows over now. It flows out the door. It flows down the street.

Porridge covers the whole town. Neighbors see the big mess. They step in the porridge. The porridge is very warm. Everyone starts to laugh now. They wade through the street. The town looks very white. It looks like sweet snow.

The kind girl comes home. "Stop, little pot, stop!" The magic pot finally stops. The town is full of food. Everyone brings a big spoon. They eat porridge for days. They are all very happy. Sharing makes the heart glad.
