The Fox and the Grapes

Fox walks in the sun. He sees big purple grapes. They look very tasty now. Fox wants to eat them. He looks up very high. The vine is very tall. Fox smiles at the grapes. He wants a sweet snack.

Fox jumps up very high. He does not reach them. Fox jumps one more time. He still does not reach. Fox jumps again and again. He is very tired now. He sits on the grass. He looks at the grapes.

Fox is a little sad. Those grapes are probably sour. He does not want them. Rabbit hops to the fox. Rabbit has a big idea. Let us try to reach. We can work together now. Rabbit points to some stones.

Fox finds a flat stone. Rabbit finds a big stone. They put the stones down. One stone goes on top. Another stone goes on top. They move very, very slowly. They wait and they build. The stone tower is tall.

Fox climbs the tall stones. He can reach the grapes. He picks the purple fruit. Fox shares with his friend. The grapes are very sweet. They are not sour today. Working together is very good. Fox and Rabbit are happy.
