The Fox and the Stork

Fox is a silly friend. He invites Stork for dinner. Fox cooks a warm soup. He puts soup on plates. These plates are very flat. Fox eats all his soup. Stork has a long beak. She cannot eat the soup.

Stork invites Fox for dinner. She makes a yummy meal. She puts food in jars. The jars are very tall. The jars are very thin. Stork eats all her food. Fox has a big nose. He cannot eat the food.

Fox looks at the jar. Stork looks at the jar. They look at each other. They both start to laugh. 'I see!' says the Fox. 'I see!' says the Stork. They are both very silly. Friends need to help friends.

Fox likes the flat plate. Stork likes the tall jar. They talk about their dinner. They talk about their shapes. Fox needs a wide bowl. Stork needs a deep bowl. Friends think about each other. Friends care about each other.

Fox and Stork cook together. They make a big stew. Fox uses a big bowl. Stork uses a big bowl. The bowls are just right. Now everyone can eat dinner. They are happy and full. They are very good friends.
