Cinderella was a very kind girl. She helped everyone with a smile. Her stepsisters were often very bossy. They liked to give many orders. Cinderella did her work very quietly. She was always gentle to others. Her heart was full of love.

One day, a royal invitation arrived. The King was having a ball. The stepsisters felt very excited today. They wanted to wear fancy dresses. Cinderella helped them get ready nicely. She fixed their long hair carefully. The sisters were very vain now. They looked in the mirror often.

The sisters left for the party. Cinderella felt a little bit sad. Suddenly, a warm light appeared soon. Her Fairy Godmother stood there smiling. She had a glowing magic wand. She wanted to help kind Cinderella. Cinderella felt very surprised and happy. The lady was soft and sweet.

The Fairy Godmother used her magic. A round pumpkin became a carriage. Six small mice became tall horses. Everything looked very bright and new. Cinderella could not believe her eyes. The magic was very powerful today. She was ready for the ball. She felt like a real princess.

Now Cinderella needed a pretty dress. Her old clothes turned into silk. The new gown shimmered like stars. She wore tiny glass slippers too. "Return home by midnight," she said. The magic would end very soon. Cinderella promised to be very careful. She climbed into her golden carriage.

Cinderella arrived at the big castle. The room was full of music. Everyone looked at the beautiful girl. She walked with a soft step. The Prince saw her right away. He thought she looked very lovely. He wanted to talk to her. He walked across the big room.

Suddenly, the big clock struck twelve. Cinderella had to run away fast. She ran down the stone steps. One glass slipper fell off there. The Prince tried to follow her. He found only the small shoe. He wanted to find the girl. He held the slipper very carefully.

The Prince visited every single house. He wanted to find the owner. Finally, he came to Cinderella's home. The slipper fit her foot perfectly. The stepsisters were very surprised now. They saw her true inner beauty. Cinderella smiled at her dear Prince. He was very happy to see her.

The sisters said they were sorry. They wanted to be better friends. Cinderella was quick to forgive them. She invited them to the palace. Everyone lived a very happy life. Kindness had changed their whole world. They were all very good friends. The palace was full of joy.
