Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People's Ears

Little Mosquito saw big Iguana. Mosquito told a silly lie. He said yams were tiny. Iguana did not like lies. He put sticks in ears. He did not want to hear. He walked away very fast.

Iguana walked past a bird. The bird saw the sticks. Bird cried out very loud. Little Monkey heard the bird. Monkey ran up a tree. Monkey hit a big branch. The branch fell near Elephant.

Big Elephant made a noise. He ran through the grass. All the animals ran too. They were all very worried. King Lion heard the noise. He sat on his rock. Lion called for a meeting. He wanted to help friends.

King Lion asked the animals. Why did everyone run today? Elephant pointed at the Monkey. Monkey pointed at the Bird. Bird pointed at the Iguana. Iguana took out the sticks. He told about the lie. Mosquito hid in the grass.

Little Mosquito felt very sad. His tiny lie made trouble. He said he was sorry. He promised to tell the truth. Now he flies to ears. He asks if they are mad. He buzzes his little song. Everyone is happy again now.
